Balance Is Key!

In life, you are responsible for your self and your well being. Apart from your spouse, children and immediate family I doubt if anyone else cares about you. Your colleagues may pretend to care but they really don't. Your boss may lip service to your well being, but in reality, it is the least of his worries. You are responsible for your life. Dont let your job take centre stage, it is only a means to end. Some treat themselves poorly all in a bid to satisfy their boss. They put their bodies through unimaginable stress in a bid to meet their target and get recognised or even rewarded. Night and day they toil endlessly and tirelessly for their organization to the detriment of other aspects of their lives.

There are 3 dimensions to your existence, your Life, your Job and your Purpose. Your Job is designed to provide you with the means to sustain your life whilst you pursue your Purpose.

Connecting to your purpose tops the list while sustaining your life comes second. You can even sacrifice your life for your purpose but it will be unwise to sacrifice your life for your job. It should be the other way round.

Now when you put things in perspective, you will see reasons why you should take your job seriously but not make it the centre of your existence. Your existence does not revolve around your Job but around your purpose. Now if your present job coincides with your life purpose then you are expected to give it your all.

As mentioned earlier, endeavour to take care of yourself, if something terrible happens to you as a result of your negligence or because you have not been taking care of yourself, your immediate family will be left to suffer and posterity will not be so kind to your memory. A lot of employees have thrown work-life balance out of the window. They put in all their time and energy into their work while their marriages suffer and their children are left under the care of surrogate parents.

Lets remember that apart from benefits, our memory will only be honoured by our beloved organization with a one minute silence.

I do accept as true with all the ideas you have presented for your post.
They are very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts
are too quick for novices. May just you please lengthen them a little from next time?
Thank you for the post.
